Cheese Studio by Rosalie respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request permanent deletion of your data from our systems, in compliance with applicable data protection regulations including the Indonesia Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP) and Meta Platform policies.
What Data Can Be Deleted
Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will permanently remove:
- WhatsApp Conversation History: All messages and media exchanged with our WhatsApp Business number.
- Order Records: Your order history, transaction details, and delivery information.
- Contact Information: Your WhatsApp phone number and any associated profile data stored on our servers.
- API Interaction Logs: Request records and metadata associated with your interactions.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, send an email to our data protection contact with the following information:
- Compose an email to the address below.
- Include your WhatsApp phone number (with country code) that you used to interact with our service — this is how we identify your data.
- State your request clearly — for example: "I request permanent deletion of all my personal data associated with Cheese Studio by Rosalie."
- Optional: Specify scope — indicate if you want all data deleted or only specific categories (conversations only, order records only, etc.).

What Happens After You Submit
1. Acknowledgment (within 48 hours)
We confirm receipt of your deletion request via email reply.
2. Verification (1–3 business days)
We verify that the request comes from the WhatsApp number owner. For security, we may send a confirmation message to your WhatsApp number.
3. Deletion Execution (within 14 days)
Once verified, we permanently delete your data from our active systems, backups, and logs. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
What Cannot Be Deleted
Certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Financial Records: Transaction records retained for tax and accounting compliance (typically 7 years under Indonesian law).
- Legal Obligations: Data subject to legal holds or regulatory retention requirements.
- Anonymized Data: Aggregated, de-identified data that cannot be linked back to you.
- WhatsApp Platform Data: Data held by Meta/WhatsApp on their own servers — you must contact WhatsApp directly for deletion of that data.
WhatsApp-Side Data
Please note that deleting data from our systems does not automatically delete messages from your own WhatsApp chat history or from Meta's servers. To delete WhatsApp messages from your device:
- Open the chat with our business number in WhatsApp.
- Tap More Options → More → Clear Chat (or Delete Chat).
